Ways of Giving to WFS
Wichita Friends School is financed from two sources
-
student tuition & fees
-
charitable gifts from generous friends and family
The Board of Directors has made a decision to keep our tuition low (compared to other Wichita-area accredited early childhood and elementary programs) because we want our quality Friends education to be accessible to many families.

How do gifts to WFS help us?
-
We can recruit and retain the best teachers.
-
We can offer monthly field-trip experiences to young children.
-
We upgrade our curricula with innovative science and engineering programs.
-
We maintain the high quality of our building, our discovery playground, and our developing outdoor classroom.
-
We are able to offer financial aid to families as needed, especially families with more than one student child

In addition to cash, checks and electronic bank drafts, we can accept:
-
gifts of appreciated stock
-
gifts of paid-up, permanent life insurance policies
-
charitable gift annuities that provide the donor with life-time income
-
gifts made directly from an IRA that eliminates the IRA withdrawal income tax for the donor
-
gifts of real estate and other non-cash assets

Everence Financial Services and the Mennonite Foundation are our partners in many of these ways of giving, and we charitable gifts advisor volunteers affiliated with our Board of Directors. For more information, call Shelly Hoffman, Head of School, 316-729-0303.
